Parish Council Meetings
Parish Council meetings are open to the public. The Council does have the power to exclude the public from part of a meeting if it judges that publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest because of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted, but this rarely happens. You are welcome to attend Whessoe Parish Council meetings.
Members of the public have no rights to speak at Parish Council meetings unless the Council authorises this, but if you've got a constructive point to make about what's going on in Whessoe then the Council will invariably give you an opportunity to make that point.
Agendas and minutes of the Parish Council meetings are available on this web site.
Remaining Parish Council meetings for 2018/19 are as follows:
May (date to be confirmed) Annual Meeting of WPC
All Parish Council meetings are held in Whessoe Parish Hall, Harrowgate Village, DL1 3AA.
Annual Parish Meeting
The Annual Parish Meeting, an opportunity for the electorate of Whessoe Parish to find out what Whessoe Parish Council has done over the past year and plans to do during the folowing year, will be held in May at a day and time to be arranged. This will be followed by the Annual Meeting of Whessoe Parish Council.
